Returns & Exchanges

Due to health and safety regulations, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged.

Returns and exchanges will only be accepted within 14 days of receiving your item. 

Verrmae does not issue refunds for change of mind or incorrect purchases. 

Please consider carefully before you purchase and feel free to reach out if you have any questions before purchasing. 

For change of mind or incorrect purchases, the customer will be provided with a credit note in the form of a gift card (valid for 3 years from the date of receival) which can be used on our online store. 

Returned items must be in original condition, unworn, with no damage, scratches, or signs of wear. It must be returned in all its original packaging including the Verrmae pouches and jewellery boxes.

Verrmae WILL NOT accept returns if products:

  • Are not returned in their original condition, unworn, with no damage, scratches, or signs of wear
  • Are not returned in all its original packaging including the Verrmae pouches and jewellery boxes.
  • Are showing signs of wear/damage
  • Are returned outside of the return timeframe of 14 days from receiving your order

Please email info@verrmae.com within 14 days from receiving your order for your return authorisation and instructions for the items you wish to return. Upon approval, the jewellery must be returned safely via Australia Post Express Service or DHL Express, with all tracking provided at the customer’s expense and will remain the customer’s responsibility until confirmation of being received by our customer service team.

Once a return has been received and its condition assessed, a credit note will be issued. The original cost of shipping is non-refundable and will not be added to your credit note. The credit will be valid to use online for a period of three years. 

SALE ITEMS 

All sale items, including those in our sample sales are considered final sale and are not eligible for a refund or exchange. 

FAULTY/DAMAGED ITEMS

Each piece is carefully hand checked one by one, both on arrival at our workspace (Melbourne, Australia) and once again when we pack your orders. We also take great care when packing orders to ensure they have sufficient packaging (fabric pouches & boxes) to prevent any damage during transit. In the unlikely event that an item has a manufacturing fault or is damaged, Verrmae will gladly offer an exchange (depending availability) or full refund (minus shipping costs) to the value of the piece(s) subject to inspection by us and as long as the following requirements are met:

  • You notify info@verrmae.com within 7 days of receiving your delivery with a description of the fault/damage and images as proof 
  • Your claim has been reviewed and approved

You will be notified by us through email if your claim for a refund has been approved. Once a refund claim has been submitted, it may take up to 5-7 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Please note, the following conditions are NOT considered to be a fault and will not qualify as faulty:

  • Natural signs of wear and tear on jewellery, such as tarnishing/scratches from usage.
  • Gradual fading of the plating over time.
  • Please note that accidental breakage of earring backings resulting from regular usage is not considered a fault, unless multiple issues are found within the same production batch.

We reserve the right to refuse any returns if it does not meet our returns policy.
